Ceylon (Sri Lanka) stamps
Have resumed my journey of discovery through the collections I acquired and found these. Issued in two sets one in 1938 and one in 1947 Ceylon, now Sri Lanka was a member of the old commonwealth and became a republic in 1972. Not all stamps within the sets are here I might find these later as I trawl the mass to be sorted.
They are not in very good condition but worthy of selection all the same.
